Slit-shaped flame reducer 7.62-mm from the set of the Shooting complex (akml, rpkl) with a NSP-3 night sight.
- significantly reduces the illumination of the night scope from the flame shot.
- to be replaced instead of the standard AKM / RPK compensator.
- the flame arrester is designed specifically for the "L" complex and differs from flame arresters for SVD, PK, PKM.

Was installed on akmn / rpkn with an NSP- (3A) sight and received the following designation of the Shooting Complex:
AKML - ed. 6P1L
AKMSL - ed. 6P4L
RPKL - ed. 6P2L
RPKSL - ed. 6P8L

Was also used with the NSPU, NSPUM scopes.
