The armor helmet is designed to protect the human head from a firearm, cold piercing-cutting weapon and from shock effects. Helmet provides protection of the human head from 9 mm of bullets with a steel core of Stechkin pistols (APS) and Makarov (PM), as well as from fragments with speeds of 570 m / s. Helmet protection area 12.5 sq. dm.

Helmet is made of two types - model R and model PASGT, differing in the form of armor. Adjustment to the size of the head using a belt suspension system, providing a snug fit of the helmet on the user's head and a comfortable ventilation mode. The deformable plastic elements of a special form in the composition of the suspension system allow minimizing the traumatic impact of a bullet hit. The armored helmet can be equipped with a removable polycarbonate visor, radio wiring and an outer cover of a monochromatic or camouflage color. Weight 1.2 kg
